WHY IS EDUCATION SO IMPORTANT: CONSERVATION HOTSPOT SCALE

We tend to lobby and blame many large corporations and governments for their destructive practices and for contributing to global environmental issues. These corporations and governments are not being evil for the sake of being evil, but for the sake of greed. Simply put, if it pays, it will continue. But their largest revenue doesn't come from their business partners or retailers, but from us - the everyday public.

Unfortunately, human greed has no limits and never will. Thus, lobbying these corporations and governments to stop their chief mission of profit is an impossible and unsustainable task. However, their simple focus can be leveraged for conservation by making sustainability the only way to do business. And as the study-supported knowledge goes, sustainability is profitable, and sustainability sells!

The market has over 8 billion consumers, but a vast number are not yet aware of the importance of awareness that must be kept whilst choosing their products. And so, without knowing, billions of the world's consumers support deforestation, illegal wildlife trade, pollution, and other environmental issues that drive the current mass extinction.
